Hey guys,
I've been playing with Nodebox a bit but it was never my strongest side...
I am working on an artwork for an album and I need your help. Basically I am trying to take an image and convert it to a web net (I hope I make sense, see attached image) Is there an easy way to do that with Nodebox?
Thanks a lot!

Hello,
I'm not really sure what this webnet is but you can create a grid and connect all points on the horizontal and vertical axis. Adding a wiggle node will return a wiggled version of your 'webnet'. In this case it has a seed an thus an endless amount of different 'webnets'
I have included a zip file with a gridnet.ndbx file so you can have a look at it. It uses only core nodes.
Reading information from an image can not be done using only core nodes so there you will have to add extra code that reads your image based on brightness or color.
In the zipfile is also an example on that: it reads an image, creates a grid and then creates the gridnet as in the first example.
below is a screenshot on each of the ndbx files. If you unzip it you will have to keep all files in the same folder.
I ended up drawing it manually because I had to finish it for a deadline. I will have a look at the files though... I could probably use it on another project.
Thanks again
