  1. Hello,

i was on my way to try nodeblock 3, seems to be amazing. I would like to try it with my students to alternative ways to produce graphics.
    but ...
i am on linux mageai 4 and the compilation failed with the following message :
[javac] Compliance level '1.5' is incompatible with source level '1.6'. A compliance level '1.6' or better is required

some help would be welcomed :)

    Hi,

    • Which version of Java are you using?
    • Do you compile with "ant run"?

    Hi,

I just tried it on Ubuntu 12.04 without any issues, Here are my Java settings:

    java version "1.7.0_51"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.4.4) (7u51-2.4.4-0ubuntu0.12.04.2)
OpenJDK Client VM (build 24.45-b08, mixed mode, sharing)

A quick Google search turned up some stuff about dirty caches. Could you try running ant clean, then ant run again?

Unfortunately I don't have the time to try this out every Linux distro. I've attached my Vagrant settings that I use to test NodeBox on. After provisioning the box, I run:

    git clone git://github.com/nodebox/nodebox.git
    cd nodebox
    ant run
