NodeBox 3From the old forum

We require the version of Java that gets installed with OS X.
I think you need to install this version: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572
I'm working on a version where we bundle our own version of Java. Unfortunately, this takes longer than expected.
Thanks for the answer, I hope the bundle comes soon.
the link does not work :/
Hi,
Here's the latest release candidate that includes the latest Java runtime. Could you test this and tell me if it works for you?

hey frederik!
thanks for the link! unfortunately i have already installed java…i would like to test the new verssion but how do i uninstall the old java software?

You don't have to install anything: the Java version is bundled so it doesn't look at the installed version at all.

Hi David,
Thanks for testing. Apparently it works the SECOND time you launch the app, so try launching it again.
I'm still searching for the possible cause.
Best,
F
Hi,
It doesn't work anyway((
3.0.42 on Maverick.
It crashes on start.
@David we fixed the initial crash issue.
@Maxim: could you give some more info? Does it show an error dialog?
Frederik,
It shows "Starting nodebox" window at start and then problem report, only.
In attach.
But if i copy NodeBox in to Applications, it closes on start without any messages.
Maxim, what locale are you using? Is your Mac configured using Russian language?
No. English
Hmm I just tried it with Russian language settings and it boots with me.
Maxim, could you try creating a new user on your Mac and running it as that user? Maybe there are some old left-over settings that interfere?
Well,
From new clear user it works well.
