Hi — is there any solve for displaying raster images in Nodebox? Additionally, is there any planned support for things like gradients, shadows, blurs, and other basic graphic operations?
Also if any of these things exist in the Nodebox Live beta, can I get an invite :)

Not at the moment, no. NodeBox really uses a vector model.
You can use NodeBox Live if you want, but also there we've disabled support for the moment (although there is some work behind the scenes to make image support work):
