For those who don't know, sanzo_colors is a hidden gem of the Cartan Node Library. I now use it constantly. Even if I don't end up using Sanzo colors, the node is still invaluable, especially in the early stages of a project. When I'm ready to start thinking about colors I often plug in this node and then just start clicking through different duos, triplets, or quartets. This way I can very quickly explore color combinations and get a feel for how they fit together in my current design, what colors work well, etc.
I love this little node, and now, having seen this short film and learned about the man behind these colors, I love it even more.

Your welcome John
I was pretty sure you’d like this video about the life of Sanzo Wada.
The video about his life impressed me, too—especially the fact that he engaged with European painting first and then Japanese painting before dedicating himself to colors. It was also great to see that his work on a color film won him an Oscar.
